Mustafa ERTÜRK / Saying of the Quranic Islam: A critical Study of it in Aspect of the Nabawî Sunnah in a Historical Reality
Abstract: In this article, it is discussed whether the saying of the Qurânic Islam is scientifically worth or not in respect of the situtation of the Nabawî Sunnah (generally means the Prophet Muhammads acts) in a historical reality. In fact, this saying in the past was arised in a different forms, like The Qurân is sufficent for us or Returning to the Qurân. Although it is connecting to historical issue, the saying of Qurânic Islam has been spread at modern time. If we look up at this point, it seems that the main target of this idea/saying is to constitute an Islamic view based on only the Qurânic Text, eliminating the Nabawi Sunnah. So, firstly it must be examined the position of the Prophet Muhammad and His sunnah in a historical reality. In addition, it is studied whether this sayin is consistent or not as a methodological aspects and its sources which are built on.
